KEANE. Strangeland tour (St.Petersburg 04/06/12)

Some hours ago has gone off a concert of a britpop group Keane. I'm really loss for words how to describe today's show. Such words as cool, great, brilliant, fucking etc. are insufficient for expressing the emotions and mood I got there. You know Russian foul language can verbalize a very extensive range of various conditions, ideas, moods, emotions, but in this case even it gives up. There're no such words. To fully realize how I experienced there you need at least to attend that concert.

A couple of days ago I begged off work for the oncoming concert. Fortunately my manager approbated that. And the most expected day finally came! YEAAAAH!!! FUCKING TODAY!

We (several persons from the fan-group) arranged to meet in two hours before the show at an egress of metro Spotivnaya. Damned if I had come in time :) Today for some reason were a lot of traffic jams. So when I finally arrived I got in touch with a lad we had made an appointment with and we together went to the concert hall aka sports complex "Jubilejny".

There we're met by two girl who gave us neon bracelets for a flash mob. So OK. Very soon we met two another girls who joined us. Waiting for letting us in we stood near the entrance discussing different things about Keane and not only. Finally we're allowed to go into this hall. I once again realized how fucking is the great amount of people. Everyone jostled, pushed each other so that to as quickly as possible check his outerwear and stand in front of the entrance door. Again it took some time to wait for this procedure. And yeah, finally the doors were opened, and a enormous stream of people burst into the hall and ran to the stage. Of course everyone wanted to stay during the concert reasonably close to his favorite group.

Again several tens of minutes we're standing there discussing something strange in order to merely kill time.

There came a time for an opening group. That were the "Hays" guys from Vladivostok which is situated on the other end of our hugest country. Frankly their performance wasn't too bad as I expected that to be. Cool guys indeed, especially a drummer. How fucking was his playing. Nevertheless it wasn't a group we're waiting for.

New 30 minutes we had to patiently wait out.

Already 9pm. Fuck, fuck. Every second was filled with tense anxiety. Everyone bated his breath. Now, now! Some seconds later! Yeah, right now!..

OH MY GOD! THEY, it were THEY! 'Haven't seen you for ages, guys! How are you? Oh, Tom, you have the fucking sweetest and tenderest voice I've ever heard! Tim, your playing the piano is fucking brilliant! Rich, the beat you set is fucking exciting! Jes, I don't know you yet, but isn't it a fucking suitable chance to meet?! Guys, I'm waiting for you GREATEST show! I fucking love you!'

Oh, I understand now it wasn't a nice idea to jot down about this event because I'm fucking filled with emotions and I can't hold them. They are shooting up from my soul. FOR FUCK's SAKE what's going on?! I'm still at the concert?! No, I'm at home. But why do I clearly see everything that was some hours ago? Maybe I'm all in all at the concert?.. Ach so, just my brain is still at the concert; to say more, I think it is left there, haha.

Let me briefly speak about that concert so that I as soon as possible go to bed in order to again attend this FUCKINGEST event, to absorb again into all these emotions!!

Here's the first song called 'My Shadow'. Frankly I haven't heard it before and it didn't touch me when it started at the concert but from the second half of it if fucking stormed into my soul and I started to make video of this. Here it is. This song is really very fucking! I forebode this song to be one of the most favorite ones of mine for a long period, mark my words.

I think it's really not a good idea to describe each song :) Just I'll say some words about several ones.

I thought I would stand with a kinda pokerface when they would play something from their new album because I didn't know these songs but it wasn't true. These new songs are fucking delightful, amazing!!

Sovereign Light Café. This song stirred me up long before the concert. I couldn't find any album version so I had to cut some of its parts from the new album trailer video. Of course there're not so long parts as I wanted so I got a song only a 25-second-length. But it's better than nothing.

The Starting Line. This song is very nice in terms of the concordance of Tom's voice and a very beautiful music. The refrain is the fuckingest here. This song sounds very sweet indeed.

On the Road. It's a very drive song. Before singing this song Tom asked us to rise a hand every time he did the same. And while this song was being sung we with great pleasure almost sprang rising our hands! Here's rather bad quality but doesn't matter I hope.

Sea Fog is very romantic and touching song! Oh, Tom almost wept while singing it. As far as I can see a lot of people fell in love with this song. It's a "Bedshaped" of the new album.

And of course the leader song of the new album - Silenced by the Night! I think no comments, just watching :D

I can't but say about Tom's communication with the audience! It was also great!
